“I feel extremely lucky and privileged to have been a student at Newcastle Ballet Theatre.
Their professional, enthusiastic, and supportive teachers have been great role models and mentors to me, and their passion for Ballet is infectious.

Not only have they taken my love of Ballet as seriously as I have, but have helped me achieve my dream of dancing full-time with the Australian Ballet School.

I will be forever grateful for their dedication to developing and refining my technique and encouraging me to be the best dancer and student I can be.
I look forward to making them proud in Melbourne in 2016 and beyond.”

Ben was invited to join the Australian Ballet School in 2016.

“Newcastle Ballet Theatre reflects the people that Rider and Kristy are: nurturing and professional. Having a successful professional career themselves, they not only understand the physical technique needed for a professional career but also the mental strength that is equally important.
I wouldn’t be the dancer or person I am today, if it hadn’t been for their wealth of knowledge and continual guidance.

Bec was accepted into the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet in 2014 and went on to receive a contract for Swan Lake with the English National Ballet.  She danced in their Corps de Ballet at the Royal Albert Hall in London. While in London Bec began training in Garudo Pilates.
In  2019 she founded the Move Garudo Pilates studio in Melbourne and is now a highly sort after teacher in London.
